General Manager of Suites and Catering

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sports Management, Culinary Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in premium hospitality, catering, food & beverage, sports and entertainment venues, hotels, convention centers, or large event operations.
• 5+ years leading managers and cross-functional teams.

Leadership

• Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Experience recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating management and hourly staff.
• Demonstrated success fostering accountability, service excellence, and operational efficiency.

Business & Financial Acumen

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L management.
• Experience managing large operating budgets and revenue targets.
• Ability to identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.

Guest & Client Relations

• Passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
• Experience building relationships with premium guests, clients, sponsors, and venue partners.

Operations

• Knowledge of premium hospitality, catering operations, banquet execution, and event logistics.
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing and improving operational procedures.

Strategy & Technical Skills

• Ability to leverage business metrics, guest feedback, and market trends to improve performance.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospitality-related management systems.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct all premium services operations, including luxury suites, VIP hospitality areas, clubs, and catering spaces.
• Lead premium hospitality strategy to maximize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain service standards, processes, and best practices.
• Recruit, schedule, train, coach, and mentor supervisors and frontline staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional hospitality.
• Provide leadership development and performance management for supervisors.
• Build strong relationships with suite holders, premium guests, corporate partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
