Data Engineer--No candidates from NY and CA
Data models, elt/etl, but will need someone a strong bkgd in software development.
Fullstack - python- all this is being done in Snowflake, and we're doing quite a bit of work w streamlit.
Snowflake as a platform, heavily dependent on stored procedures with SQL, streamlit and python, also using ADF
Streamlit is nice to have-- we are leveraging AI quite a bit and someone who is interacting with Snowflake Cortex (Coco) building a streamlit
We flex a little bit if we find the right person with the job. We find that the contracted person "general ledger stuff" we'll use 20% of the time.
Day to Day- why we have issues w our data? Sometimes it comes in w an inquery. Understanding data analysis and understand is the sourcing of the data being handled correctly? That then means unpacking some python code and what the python is doing. Figuring out the source of the problem-doing pipelining-- we have rqmts coming in all the time and metrics and kpis and we have a set of kpis and we need to add more. This will come w requirements and how to source the data, a little bit of base queries and coding and get the source data. Making sure we're getting the correct set of data and validation-- once our sourcing looks good we will be writing new stored procedures or addiitonal ones- if new orchestration needs to occur or be modified we used ADF to do orchestration of jobs and data loads.
