About Us

CrossFit Spero has been building a stronger Oak Park for over a decade. We run two facilities and coach a tight-knit community of roughly 200 members who show up, work hard, and hold each other accountable. We're not a big box gym. We're a coaching-first operation where results are personal and relationships are real. The Role

We’re looking for a coach who can lead group CrossFit classes and work with members one-on-one through personal training. You’ll be a face of the gym — someone members trust, look forward to seeing, and refer their friends to. This starts as a part-time position with a clear path to full-time for the right person.

What You’ll Do

• Coach group CrossFit classes with energy, precision, and genuine attention to each athlete
• Guide New CrossFit Members through our OnBoarding Process
• Train personal training clients with individualized programming and accountability
• Build relationships that keep members engaged and progressing
• Communicate clearly with members about their goals and next steps
• Contribute to a culture members want to show up to every day

What We’re Looking For

• CrossFit Level 1 certification (required)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (required before start)
• Experience coaching group classes and/or personal training clients
• Strong communication skills — you can read a room and connect with individuals
• Hungry to grow your client base and your career
• Reliable, professional, and coachable

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
• Personal training earnings on top of base coaching pay
• Clear path to full-time salary as your schedule and client base grow
